The Patterns Beneath What We Carry
Each woman arrives with natural strengths that have helped her create, connect, care, cope and continue. Over time, those familiar strengths can also become the way she carries too much. You may recognize yourself in one woman—or see pieces of yourself in all five.
Driven • Growing • Visionary
She carries the pressure to keep moving.
She sees what is possible and naturally moves toward the next idea, goal or opportunity. She is determined, capable and often the one who gets things started. Beneath that forward momentum, she may be carrying frustration, pressure to prove herself or the belief that slowing down means falling behind.
Vibrant • Expressive • Engaging
She carries the momentum.
She arrives with the music turned up and an energy her friends recognize instantly. She is engaging, generous and often the first to volunteer, say yes or bring the fun. Behind that bright spark, she may be burning the candle at both ends while feeling responsible for keeping everyone connected and happy.
Caring • Steady • Dependable
She carries everyone else’s needs.
She is the steady woman others instinctively turn toward. She remembers what everyone needs, creates comfort and keeps the peace. Beneath her dependable presence, she may be carrying more responsibility than anyone realizes while quietly wondering when she will become part of the care she gives so freely.
Intuitive • Sensitive • Reflective
She carries a deep inner world.
She feels deeply and senses possibilities she may not yet know how to name. Her intuition, imagination and emotional depth are among her greatest strengths. Yet she may question herself, retreat when she feels misunderstood or long for steadier ground from which to safely express what has been moving within her.
These are not five different types of women. They are five elemental qualities living within every woman—including you.
One or two qualities may feel especially familiar because they are the ones you have learned to rely upon. The others have not disappeared. They may simply be waiting for more space, attention and expression.
A Retreat That Recognizes the Individual Woman
This is not a one-size-fits-all retreat. Every woman arrives with her own strengths, familiar patterns, lived experiences and qualities that may be asking for greater support.
Some moments will bring everyone together. Other experiences will unfold in smaller groups, creating opportunities to explore elemental qualities beyond the ones you naturally rely upon. You may be invited to soften, receive, express, trust, move, rest, release, create or step toward something that has been waiting within you.
As Anita and Cheryl curate the weekend, consideration will be given to what already feels natural to you, where you may be carrying too much and which elemental qualities could offer greater balance, clarity, nourishment and flow.
Your strengths will be honoured and the parts of you waiting to be rediscovered will be invited forward.
Some details will be shared before you arrive. Other meaningful moments will remain part of the discovery.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what you have been carrying, which strengths have been leading and what you are ready to invite into your life next.
What Becomes Possible
This weekend is an opportunity to step outside the roles, responsibilities and familiar patterns that have shaped your days. With the details taken care of and your individual strengths considered, you will have room to notice what may be ready to be released—and what within you is ready to be rediscovered.
Not a prescribed version of who you should become, but a clearer relationship with the woman you already are.
Greater clarity about the patterns and strengths that have been leading your life
Permission to set down responsibility, control, grief or expectations that no longer belong to you
A renewed connection to qualities within you that have been waiting to be expressed
A deeper understanding of what nourishes your energy, your relationships and your everyday life
The experience of being seen and supported by women who recognize parts of themselves in you
A clearer sense of what to release, what to receive and what you are ready to choose next
You will not leave as someone new. You will leave more connected to the parts of yourself that everyday life may have asked you to place last.
